Thee Cree Legacee: Forgive and Forget

My name is Obadiah Cree but you probably already know that right? I bet Mum has told you all about me. Don’t listen to a word she says. All lies I tell you. Now apparently I’m normally the mean one in the house, but Mum got real nasty at Dad for lying to her. Dad was practically begging for my mothers forgiveness. So why am I unclogging the toilet you ask? And what does this have to do with Mum and Dad’s arguments?

Well I am stuck at home doing the chores while Dad has taken Mum out to make up for what he did. I think it went well…

And although I may not be nice to my fellow sims I have a soft spot for puppies and kittens. I told the local pound that our family already runs a breeding program so I was more than happy to foster puppies or kittens for them. Our first foster arrived the next day and she was soooo cute. But if you tell anyone I said that, I’ll hunt you down and knock you out. It’s just not good for my ego.

And just in case you weren’t sure whether Mum and Dad had made up. Here is some proof. Mum actually helped Dad build up skill for his job and he helped her loose the weight she had gained while they were dining out! It’s good that they are back to normal. Now my status as the meanest sim in the house can return. Mwhuahua..ha…huh?

Grrr.. Levi is a teen now. That means that I have to compete with him for the girls at school. But I’m still the cutest…right? Why couldn’t I be an only child!? What do you mean he is a spare? A spare for what?

Mum took aging gracefully pretty seriously. She loved the whol grey hair look. Now that she was old and Levi and I were capable of looking after ourselves she had to find a hobby before she went insane. Because all the cool old people have hobbies aparently. So making juice became her hobby. I think she may have become slightly addicted to the stuff. I would catch her in the middle of the night having a few juices. Makes me wonder what she put in them.
Her dog, Tiffany, was also aging with her. Tiffany was really old now and I was surprised she had lasted this long. Mum had adopted her not long after she had moved to Okines Village.

Although Mum was very helpful with our homework we hated it as much now as we did when we were kids. I like to think I was more intelligent than Levi but he somehow he managed to get all the better grades and all the girls too. What a geeky brat! Girls are a waste of time anyway…

Dad was away a lot at night. Probably robbing banks or something. But he was seldom present for dinner (that I always burnt). Between Mum, Levi and I there were some interesting conversations. Lately Levi has been telling me I should stop obsessing over the kittens I foster, and I should get a girlfriend. Well I might if he didn’t take them all! I swear he was just rubbing it in my face. I’ll show him one day…

Oh and my dog Bindi had just one little pup for my breeding program. Mum called her Cinnamon. What kind of name is that? The poor pup will have personality issues with that name. She is already shy enough and she never strays far from Bindi.

Dad took Mum’s advice and also aged gracefully. He wasn’t a big fan of grey hair but Mum convinced him he was still ‘hot stuff’? *shudder* I don’t want to know. I think it’s really embarrassing to have old parents. Especially when they get all romantic at the most random of moments. It really grosses me out.

They celebrated their 50th anniversary soon afterwards. Mum had a blast. She invited an old friend around. She hadn’t seen him for years. I think his name was Amando Cox or something, isn’t he the local garden club representative? Who ever he is, he looked a tad jealous of Mum and Dad. I wonder why?

I’ve been doing some growing myself actually. No longer am I the teen who couldn’t get a girlfriend. Well I still can’t get a girlfriend… but no longer am I a teen! I guess you could say I’m a tad less childish, but who’s the judge of that? I’m still continuing the family breed, and I’m still fostering puppies and kittens. I also have a new hobby…when all the animals are asleep at night I stare into outer space. It’s the in thing ok? Don’t laugh at me. Levi’s the dork! Not me.

Being cooped up with your crazy old parents and a dorky little brother can make you… tense. I was sick of cooking for my parents because they were too busy smooching. I was sick of cleaning up after Levi because he was too busy being a nerd and playing PC games ALL day. So I decided just to get away from it all and I went down town. I told the taxi driver I didn’t care where he took me, as long as it was somewhat peaceful.

And it was nice to get a break. The taxi dropped me off in a park and I hired a rod and fished into the early hours of the morning. You’d be surprised how calming fishing is. It doesn’t matter that I didn’t catch anything. It was just… fun. Hmmm I wonder if there were actually any fish in that water. Anyways, I ended up returning to my crazy home a few hours later. The crazy world that is my sad life.

Levi is such a me wannabe. I grew up so he had to grow up didn’t he? And yes he could of helped it if he tried hard enough. And being an adult doesn’t change the fact that he’s still a geek. Since when is playing computer games a job? All he does is play on that stupid computer. He has no social life whatsoever.

But then again I’m the one who has the stupid amount of puppies and kittens. Maybe I’m borderline obsessive compulsive? Nah that’s just crazy. I’m completely normal.

What a hoot this has been. Not many updates from me really. I’m still really enjoying this legacy. It hasn’t been boring for me yet and I hoped it hasn’t been boring for you so far. I’m taking it easy and not trying to jam too much into one update. I wouldn’t want you to be overwhelmed with one character growing up three times in one update. I know that confuses me.

Ok does anyone want to explain to me if it is possible for penguins to visit when it isn’t winter? I laughed when I saw him waddling down the street. He seems so out of place when it isn’t snowing!
