Thee Cree Legacee: Secrets Revealed
Posted by okines on August 14, 2007

Well Garland and I are proud to announce that we had another bouncing baby boy. We named him Levi. He doesn’t look quite like Obadiah. Obadiah has Garland’s dark skin and Levi has my complexion. Both have my violet eyes and both are beautiful.

Obadiah has grown into a child now. Unfortunately he isn’t doing to well at school. Apparently he was bullying the other kids and his grades are low. His low grades and bad reputation doesn’t dampen his spirits. He is still cheeky at home but the one good thing about him is his cleanliness. You don’t even need to tell him to clean his room!

Also, it was sadly decided that Beaver would have to leave us. Fortunately we found a loving owner for him who turned out to be one of Garland’s old friends. But Beaver didn’t seem so sad to leave us. It was almost as if he was smiling when he left our home for the last time…

Time passes quickly when you have kids. It was like I blinked and Levi had grown into a toddler. I swear he was a baby a second ago!? It was apparent now that Obadiah and Levi didn’t look like each other at all. Levi had his fathers facial features (and stubborn attitude) while Obadiah took after me. Potty training Levi was a nightmare… he was a stubborn learner!! I was thinking that Obadiah and his little brother weren’t so different with their bratty personalities.

Although some nights I did feel really sorry for Obadiah. Levi had a really strange sleeping pattern and he would wake Obadiah at the worst of hours. Obadiah would come into our room and ask “Muuuuum can’t you sell Levi? Like you did with Beaver? Or can I have my own room!?” I wish I could grant his wishes (about his own room, not selling Levi). But I just don’t have the money at the moment. What a pain in the butt that is.

Speaking about money, I realized that Garland was telling me less and less about his job. I decided to ask him about it while he ate his burnt pork chops. “So… darling,” I started “I’ve been meaning to ask about your work lately. I mean, it’s bringing in a lot of money and I’m sure we’ll be able to renovate soon, but how can office job earn that much?” He frowned at me suspiciously and then put on a completely innocent face. “Jael, I’ve told you before, I have the best office job in Okines Village.” he paused and fixed his eyes on mine. “Just don’t question what puts a roof over our heads.” With that said he continued to stuff his face with dead pig.

Soon enough my little boy Levi become a child. It seems like they just spin around and BAM!… they’ve had a growth spurt! But that would be crazy… right? My household wasn’t a quiet household anymore. Both of my boys are very confident and energetic. Actually, my household hasn’t been quiet since Obadiah was born! Unless it’s bedtime.

Bernie and Tiffany have had three more pups. I lied when I told Garland that Bernie had been snipped. I must of forgotten to take him to the vets (accidentally on purpose)! We had a dark girl, and a white girl and boy. I named them Brandi, Busker and Bindi. If any of them are good lookers they’ll replace Suki in my breeding program. Anyways, what is Garland complaining about? Who can resist these running around the home?

Now that they boys were getting older I thought that it was time to get them into a better school. Obadiah was more than happy to show the principle how smart he was. I was quite surprised myself! He certainly didn’t get his intelligence from me!! Oh and I heard the headmaster was quite sleezy so I slipped into my night gown and acted like I forgot he was coming tonight. It worked a treat. He was more focused on… other things. Luckily Garland was doing a night shift that night! Anyways the boys were accepted into the private school.

Homework proved to be very tough work for the boys. But I think they over dramatizing it a bit. You could hear them whispering before I came into the room “Quick! Mum’s coming. Act like you’re thinking!”

On a more sadder note, the grim came to take Bernie away from me. It was really horrible. Bernie didn’t even get to see his second litter grow up. I’ll miss that dog. He has stuck by me from the very beginning. RIP Bernie.

My son Obadiah grew into a better boy as a teenager. His bullying had stopped and he focused more on his family than ever before. He told me “I want to be a good role model for Levi.” But he still had that cheekiness in him that I guess will never disappear. If an opportunity arises for him to tease someone he will take it. Oh and he loves helping out our maid, Lucy. Although I often wonder what his motives are…

And of course Bernie and Tiffany’s second litter had grown up by this time. As a family it was decided that Bindi would stay on for our breeding program. She was intelligent like Bernie, and looked most like Bernie. She was almost his living memory. Of course Garland said he only wanted one breeder in the house so sadly the others had to go. Including our beloved Suki who was a pup from Bernie’s first litter. Obadiah seemed most upset and he really didn’t want Suki to leave so he spent some last moments with her giving her a bath.
(Bindi, Brandi, and Busker).

The other night I thought I heard someone outside the window. I quietly got up and looked outside to see… a ROBBER! I ran out there and started yelling at him with my baseball bat ready when he started yelling at me. “Wait!! Jael its me! Garland!” I stopped dead in my tracks. I was utterly confused until I saw his carpool was driving away in the distance. I put all the pieces together and the alarm bells started ringing in my head.
“You’re a criminal? Garland how could you? I trusted you.” I saw slowly, my anger burning within me. “How can I trust my husband when he is a liar and criminal?!”

“But Jael, what about the money?” he pleaded.
“I don’t care about the money. I’d rather be on the streets. Actually I don’t really care that you’re a criminal at all. What really ticks me off is that you have lied to me! Straight out lied Garland! How could you?” I started to storm back into the house but stopped before I reached the door and turned around to face Garland again. “And you STINK! Quite literally!” with that said I continued my way into the house and slammed the door behind me. I was furious! I didn’t care what Garland did at the moment. His desire for wealth had made him go into the criminal career. I really wouldn’t of cared if he had just told me the truth!

Ooooh tense eh? Well let’s lighten things up a little with a funny pic of Garland. I noticed that he is very much a ‘flighter’. You know the ‘fight or flight’ saying, well Garland is a ‘flighter’. And I’m pretty sure that’s not even a word but who cares? Remember last time when Jael had passed out in her food, he had that “Oh snap! What do I do?” look? Well here it is again in a whole new situation. He really is quite hopeless (but thankyou for the lovely children Garland!)

Hahaha! Poor Garland, but that’s what you get when you lie to your wife!
Glad the second litter turned out well!

Bernie will be missed.
But I just love the pic with the three pups, how adorable! Obadiah sure did grow up into a good-looking young man!
Lovely chapter! I hope everything turns out alright between Jael and Garland!

Ha ha, I love the ‘oh snap what do I do’ comment. I’ve yet to have a sim or pet die on me. Maybe soon, I tend to skip around a lot. But so far I’m really enjoying your legacy, I like the way your writing it.
